My magazine will be called- Rhythm

My magazine genre is- Indie/Pop-Rock

The targeted audience for music magazine- Teenagers who are between the ages of 14-18 they must be interested in indie/pop-rock styled music.

I have chosen the following features to be apart of mu music magazine theoretically.
- Events & Gigs nearest you
- Free posters for buyers
- Interview with new bands every week
- Top charts
The things which I definitely have to include within my magazine
- Double page spread
- Front cover.
- Content page

My music magazine will be different from other music magazines out now because- I have new additions to my magazine, and being a teenager I have an insight on what teens would like. I have also conducted a survey to find out what people like about music magazine and added the highest voted into my own. Because of this I think my music magazine will be successful.

I think it will because successful with my readers because- I think every teenager will enjoy this magazine as almost the whole teenage population listen and realise on music. Also I will try and make my front cover more appealing to the eye.

How will I organize my time- By doing at least two hours of independent study work a week so that my out come is at the best standards.

What equipment will you use- I will use my camera to make my own images for my student and music magazine. I will also use tools which include Microsoft Word, www.blogger.com (to upload my work), Microsoft publisher, paint, Photoshop, and www.dafont.com

Student magazine

This is my student magazine, by doing this it allowed me to have practice for my final music magazine. For my student magazine i thought i would include aspects on the frount cover which are common within high school, for example many students do get bullied and by having tips of what to do to help you in these situasions in my magazine it would relalte to students.

Also by having articels included in my magazine which students would like to read would make my magazine even more popular within the school.

I choose to include a puff onto my frount cover it tells my targeted audiance that "this is the best student magazine where they live", this will also tell the readers that it is a good magazine.

On the front cover the i have used a picture of student that are in the school this will also make my magazine more student freindly as there friends around them and thereselfs are included in the magazine.

By using a contrast of colour and black and white allows my cover to my eye catching.

I made my student magazine affordable to all students within the school by making the cost of it 75p. My targeted audiance for this magazine is from the age of 13-18.
